FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Hello Kitty Floats in Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade

Austin, TX, November 9, 2007 — Austin’s Chinatown Center and Tan International Group have teamed up to sponsor the HUGE inflatable Hello Kitty Balloon at the Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade, Saturday, November 24, 2007.  This is Chuy’s 17th Annual Parade which has given hundreds of thousands of toys to underprivileged Austin area children over the years.

80,000 spectators are expected to gather and watch this year’s parade while donating toys to Operation Blue Santa.  With only 5 balloons, the giant Hello Kitty will surely be a spectacular sight.  Also walking with the Hello Kitty balloon will be the Love of China dance school.

Tan International Group has hosted a number of cultural events at Austin’s Chinatown Center, and they are no strangers to philanthropy.  “It is important to give back to the community and celebrate these authentically Austin celebrations” says Alex Tan, the developer of Chinatown Center.

Come join the fun on Saturday, November 24, 2007.  The parade will run approximately 1 hour and begin at 11:00am at the Capital. They will head South on Congress to 6th Street, and turn West on 6th Street to end on Guadalupe.  Be sure to bring a toy to help Operation Blue Santa make every child’s holiday a happy one!
