Lt. Governor David Dewhurst to Attend Chinatown Center Ribbon Cutting

Austin, TX, September 29, 2006 — Austin’s newest landmark, the first Chinatown Center in Central Texas, will hold its Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Friday, September 29th at 6:00 PM.  The center is located at 10901 N. Lamar Blvd.

Lt. Governor David Dewhurst is scheduled to attend the ribbon cutting to show his support of the Chinatown Center and its future contributions to the Austin community. 

Visitors will find M.T. Supermarket, the largest Central Texas Asian supermarket, a variety of authentic Asian cuisine restaurants, jewelry stores, the Austin Asian American Chamber of Commerce and over 40 other retail shops in the 180,000 square feet of retail space, which was developed by Tan International Group.
