Austin, TX, March 9, 2007 – The Salute 2007 awards dinner promises to be the best yet after securing the Title Sponsorship from Tan International Group/Chinatown Center.  Salute gives the exceptional people within the Austin Independent School District (AISD) the opportunity to be recognized and receive awards for their achievements. Austin Partners in Education (APIE) has been honoring extraordinary teachers, partners, volunteers and staff in the AISD for 22 years. Without the generous support from Tan International Group/Chinatown Center and other sponsors, the chance to acknowledge these individuals would not exist. This year’s event will take place on May 7, 2007 at 6:00pm at the Hilton Austin Hotel.
